QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred but is required to have a minimum of Associate’s Degree in one of the social sciences or human services field. At least 1 year experience providing services to individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) including those with co-occurring substance use disorders is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance. All employees must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
SUMMARY: This member of the multidisciplinary team has responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment; substance abuse services; education, support, and consultation to families; and crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of QMHP and IMPACT Clinical Services Coordinator. This person must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of providing services to individuals with a serious mental illness (SMI). Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with SMI to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services. This person must be able to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with SMI and respect for client’s rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.
