All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and Sustainability for Electrolux Major Appliances NA. You will be based in Charlotte, NC. Across all sites and business areas, the Manufacturing Excellence teams are proactively working to optimize manufacturing systems. Representing the Group Labor Efficiency Team in each Business Area, you will find people who are focused on bringing manufacturing process transformation and optimization into the factory, always working towards continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles. It’s an exciting, wide-open environment in which to drive your own development!
What you’ll do:
- Implementation of efficient labor resources management following EMS Labor Map methodology.
- Implementation Standard Time definition for different processes and products following standard methodologies.
- Verification of Routings correct definition vs Line Balance and DL/IDL organization.
- Adoption of yearly DL Efficiency improvements plans according to Labor Map methodology.
- Adoption and roll-out of DL Efficiency indicator and management at the team level in each plant.
- Develop and drive collaboration community for Labor Efficiency across the Business Area.
- Run & coordinate trainings for Times and Methods Engineers for Electrolux Standard Time measurement methodology and safe and ergonomic workplace design across the BA.
- Organize a BA Labor Efficiency Master Plan.

Qualifications Required:
- Business Degree or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Materials Engineering (Studying or completing).
- 2 years' experience within the Manufacturing Engineering area and especially with good knowledge on Time & Methods production concepts.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with project management, working with multifunctional teams.
- Working knowledge of production organization and daily production routines.
- Working knowledge of product and Process documentation and data management.
- Experience with multicultural, international organizations preferred.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing systems.
