The ideal candidate for this position has fellowship training in advanced body MRI and is skilled in the interpretation of prostate and liver MRI. The candidate will be proficient in reading low-dose CTs for our established Lung Cancer Screening Program. Responsibilities also include participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards (e.g., Pulmonary, Liver/GI, and Genitourinary tumor boards) and education of diagnostic radiology residents from the University of California, Irvine. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-4:30pm or 4-day compressed tour opportunities.
Practice Environment: Outpatient and Inpatient Settings.
Call Coverage: 1:12 weeks. UC Irvine residents provide after-hours preliminary reads and pager coverage, and National Teleradiology Program (NTP) covers after-hours final reads for emergent/inpatient studies. The radiology attending is on back-up call.
Academic Affiliations: University of California, Irvine. Academic appointment with resident teaching opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Body fellowship training with expertise in advanced body MRI.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with a current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any state or U.S. territory.
- U.S. Citizenship.
