DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a County Casework Manager 1, you will function as a Social Service Coordinator and conduct advanced level professional social work duties in an administrative and supervisory capacity. Within this role, you will manage and supervise program units, in addition to overseeing the agency's work towards making all reasonable efforts to prevent out of home placements. You will assist in the development of protocol and policy, as well as participate in the development of management goals and the needs based budget process. This professional also conducts staff trainings, identifies service gaps, and develops programs and resolutions pertaining to identified needs. Guided by the vision and mission statements of the agency, this professional must possess a comprehensive working knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures to assure that services are delivered to address the safety, permanence, and well-being of all children served.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in public or private social work which included one year in a public welfare program and one year in a supervisory capacity; and a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
