Mountain View Veterinary Hospital, located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Lacey, WA is looking to welcome a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian to our team and rapidly growing hospital! Live and work near mountains, the ocean, and a temperate rainforest!
Our Culture and Team:
We have a collaborative style of medicine; our doctors meet regularly to share and discuss cases and provide input on the direction of medicine in our hospital. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients while supporting the growth, development, and overall well-being of our staff. Our tenured team consists of six veterinarians, three of which have been with the practice between 19 and 29 years. Of our six LVTs, three have been with us for more than 10 years and two for more than five years.
When you join our team, you will be working closely with our Medical Director, Dr. Rhonda Snyder. Dr. Snyder is a native of Thurston County and a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Snyder practiced in Kirkland for five years and then, with the help of family and friends, built Mountain View Veterinary Hospital from the ground up. After 34 years of practice, Dr. Snyder enjoys her patients, clients, coworkers, and the work that she does. She operates under the philosophy of "sleep at night" medicine, taking care of her patients and clients to a standard where she doesn't have to worry about them when she leaves for the day. She personally loves helping new graduates grow into confident and competent practitioners who continue to have a passion for the profession, and she values their input on the newest information from the universities.
Our Hospital:
Mountain View Veterinary Hospital opened in 1993 and has been AAHA accredited since 1994. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with in-house Ultrasound, Endoscopy, and Digital Radiography. We provide wellness care as well as advanced medicine and soft tissue surgeries. We can treat DKAs, IMHA, and pyothorax and perform splenectomies, diaphragmatic hernia repairs, and GDVs. Our hospital provides an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys aspects of emergency medicine but wants the client bond of general practice. We have amazing clients who value the care of their pets. We provide high quality medicine and make sure each of our patients are cared for every single day.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation package includes a starting base salary of $110,000 - $140,000, monthly production with no-negative accrual, and sign-on bonus. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, with company HSA contribution), life and disability insurance, 401K with employer match, PTO, generous CE, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, uniform allowance, and more.
