Manager of ICU Critical Care
Location: Bay area CA
Our client is a not-for-profit healthcare organization affiliated with one of the top health systems in the United States. To meet the growing needs of the community, they opened a new 241+ bed hospital less than 10 years ago. The hospital is designed with advanced earthquake technology and has one of the best payer mixes in CA. They have an opening for a true "A" player to spearhead their dynamic ICU department.
The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for the clinical and administrative management of the nursing care provided to patients within the designated units of his/her responsibility, ensuring optimal and consistent nursing care; collaboration intra and inter-departmentally; and providing a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families. The ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Patients’ Bill of Rights is integrated into nursing practice.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience:
- A Registered Nurse who has a B.S.N., a Masters in Nursing or other related field is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensed in State of California.
- ACLS & BLS.
Minimum Field-of-Expertise:
- Five years experience in an acute care hospital.
- Two years experience as a Charge Nurse in an acute care hospital.
- Management experience preferred.
