About the clinician's workday
We are offering a position with flexible scheduling options: either Monday through Thursday with four 10-hour shifts or Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. The patient population consists entirely of adult men in a medium to maximum security facility. The EMR system used is paper-based. Required certifications include Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, BLS, a Washington license, DEA, and proof of COVID vaccination. The role involves handling various procedures, such as treating injuries, addressing acute illnesses, conducting follow-ups, performing physicals, managing complicated chronic care patients, providing urgent care, and minor procedures. Credentialing time is estimated at 1-2 weeks. While psych experience is preferred, and comfort with sutures and injections is a plus, these are not mandatory requirements.
