Responsibilities:
An exciting, multi-faceted nursing position is available in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. This position will have a variety of responsibilities supporting hematology/oncology acute clinic needs with:
- Blood product administration
- Chemotherapy
- Pain crisis management
In addition to the above, the role includes telephone care management, patient/family education, research, and data collection. There will also be close collaboration with the Pediatric Infusion Center to provide quality, family-centered, compassionate care. Strong assessment, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Previous pediatric experience is strongly preferred. Requires RN with current NYS license.
Qualifications:
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range: $35.35 - $45.96
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
