Sigma Healthcare staffing is currently looking for Medical Laboratory Technician to work onsite in Delta, CO.
Shift Information: 10hr/days, 2p-12:30a, Thurs-Sun
POSITION SUMMARY:
The medical laboratory technician is responsible for all three phases of patient testing (preanalytical, analytical and post-analytical), quality assurance, and safety. The position ensures high quality, accurate and timely testing, and reporting of laboratory results
Job Requirements :
MLT or MT Generalist.
Experience in blood bank, hematology, chemistry, and able to do micro set-ups.
Occasionally have to draw blood.
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution
National registration by ASCP/HEW as an MT or equivalent.
Associates degree in chemical, physical, biological science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
National registration by ASCP/HEW as an MLT or equivalent; or qualify as Laboratory testing personnel as defined by CLIA 88 regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP/AMT), Clinical Laboratory Technician (NCA), or equivalent.
A minimum of one (1) year previous hospital experience preferred.
