The LSU Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine - Section of Infectious Disease is searching for a Clinical Trials Coordinator to provide support for federally funded projects focusing on HIV prevention and management.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's
Discipline(s): Life Science, Applied Science/Health Studies, Biomedical Science, Public Health or related disciplines
Certifications/Licenses Required: Clinical Trials Coordinator 2 or 3: CCRC/CCRP or related Clinical Research Certification
Minimum Years Required: CTC 1: 1 year; CTC 2: 3 years; CTC 3: 5 years
Type of Experience Required: Coordination of patient care including within clinical care programs.
Substitutions for Required Education/Experience:
At the CTC 2 or 3 level, one additional year of Clinical Research experience may substitute for the CCRC/CCRP at the department’s discretion. At the CTC 1 or 2 level, an LPN and 2 additional years may substitute for the Bachelor's. At any level, a Master's can substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Master's
Discipline(s): Life Science, Applied Science/Health Studies, Biomedical Science, Public Health or related disciplines.
Certifications/Licenses Preferred: Certified training in HIPAA Compliance and Human Subjects protection.
Preferred Experience: Experience working on research involving the LGBT community, people living with HIV, or other vulnerable and diverse populations. Experience conducting observational or survey data collection.
