Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Perianesthesia (pre/PACU)!
Your primary responsibilities as an RN in our department will include:
- Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns
- Interviewing and preparing patients for surgery
- Observing vital signs
- Sedating patients
- Administering necessary medication and IV drips
- Recovering patients after surgery
- Managing patients' pain and evaluating responses to treatments and interventions
- Keeping the patient informed throughout the procedure
- Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
- Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure
- Other duties as assigned
*This position does require staffed hours in both the hospital and outpatient surgery locations, and transition between the two buildings.
This position is: Full Time, Days
Call is 1 weekend in every 8/10 weeks and 3-4 days/month. NO SCHEDULED EVENING/NIGHT SHIFT HOURS!
Job Requirements:
Education: Associates degree or Bachelors degree
Skills: Patient care
License: RN
