As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you'll be at the forefront of providing immediate and critical medical attention to our beloved animal companions. Your expertise and quick thinking will be instrumental in addressing emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat animals in urgent and critical condition.
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to determine the best course of action.
- Perform emergency surgeries and medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with our skilled team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering guidance and support during stressful times.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of all procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in urgent care veterinary medicine.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with urgent care/emergency surgical procedures (including, but not limited to, laceration repairs, wound exploration/repairs)
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active, non-restricted veterinary license
- Deep understanding of veterinary medicine, practices, and procedures (surgery and clinical)
