The Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous Acute Care-ICU experience required.
- ACLS, BLS required.
- NCCPA certification preferred.
- Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
- Physician Assistant License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required.
Shift needed: 8pm-6am 4 days per week.
The PA will be covering ICU/SDU. No OR coverage.
Manage ICU and step down area and assist with any admissions overnight. The PA will collaborate with the on-call ICU intensivist.
