There are many veterinary jobs out there and vets are in short supply. How are we different?
Amazing hours and no mandatory ER/Off duty responsibilities – We operate M-F 9am-5pm and Sat 9am-noon. We have no on-call and respect doctors' time off. We have an excellent support staff and work efficiently with half-hour appointments.
Team approach – We all work together to strive for excellence in patient care and client experience. Have an appointment that turned out to be way more than expected, or an emergency surgery? We all adapt and help out however possible to ensure the day goes smoothly for all of us and our clients and patients are served. Do we share cases and knowledge and give opinions or advice when needed? Absolutely. Every single day. No one works in a bubble here.
Support staff – Some of the best in the business! We have certified technicians as well as assistants. But certified or not, we encourage the growth of everyone on our staff. Our technical staff is extremely knowledgeable. They frequently interact with our clients and are imperative in our mission to help educate our clientele. We train ALL of our technical staff to place catheters, monitor anesthesia, perform dentistries, and so much more.
Truly amazing clientele and an incredible area to practice in – We can’t overstate this enough. We have worked hard to develop the relationships and trust we have within our community. Our clients allow us to practice medicine at the highest of levels. Most are familiar with and utilize the 3 surrounding specialty hospitals and ERs. We also have excellent relationships with these hospitals. As a result, we have the comfort of specialist support and the opportunity to refer cases that may be beyond our expertise or capabilities.
Open-mindedness – We welcome new ideas from every member of our staff. Veterinary medicine is an ever-changing profession. We are not naïve to think there is only one way of doing things. We encourage new members to share their prior experiences and are always open to ways to improve.
