Job Requirements:
The Nurse Practitioner will have the following requirements:
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation.
- Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS thru the AHA.
- Certified as an Acute-Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care) with experience in advanced clinical management of cardiology patients with a minimum of 6 months experience in the past 36 months, including experience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease and experience with rhythm disorders. OR, certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease, including experience with rhythm disorders with a minimum of 1 year experience in the past 36 months and experience in caring for patients with pacemaker and ICD implantation with a minimum of 1 year experience in the past 36 months.
