Position Highlights

What You'll Be Doing
- Creating reports for utilization management, quality controls, productivity and performance improvement initiatives
- Running statistical evaluations of program performance measures
- Conducting formal research projects based on agency needs
- Work with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to write and run Queries
Minimum Qualifications - General Experience
Six (6) years of professional experience in financial management with some experience in health care management.
Minimum Qualifications - Substitutions Allowed
- College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
- A Master's degree in accounting, finance or other closely related field or public health with some college courses in accounting or finance may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
- Professional experience in health care facility administration, health program administration, health insurance administration, health planning or other health care related fields may be substituted for the General Experience on a year for year basis to a maximum of one (1) year.
- Successful completion of a Connecticut Careers Trainee program approved by the Department of Administrative Services may be substituted for the General Experience.

- Experience writing and running reports
- Experience with performance improvement projects
- Experience creating reports for utilization management, quality controls, productivity and performance improvement initiatives
- Experience running statistical evaluations of program performance measures
- Experience conducting formal research projects
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access including writing and running Queries
