We are offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for new hire Mental Health Worker/C.N.A, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half will be paid at one year of employment.*
Job Summary: Provides role as a patient advocate through role modeling of standards of performance and by meeting patients’ needs for service. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, specifically patients’ activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation, monitoring, interacting, and providing/assisting in groups.
Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in any of the social sciences preferred and/or comparable behavioral health experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Experience in working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients. Candidate must have excellent written skills. External candidates must have C.N.A certification. Internal MHW candidates must have or complete C.N.A. certification within 6 months of accepting the position.
Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Nights - Every Other Weekend
