As a Radiology Technologist, you will be part of the Diagnostic Team, working in all areas of the department with opportunities to cross-train into other modalities. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Transplant Center is a plus.
Diagnostic Imaging at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is busy and fast-paced, performing over 350 exams per day. Our department supports services for inpatients, outpatients, and specialized clinics.
Hours: 5x8's; 7a-3:30p, with every 3rd weekend in a rotational schedule.

Sign-on Details: Up to $20,000
Additional Benefits: Self-scheduling tool for shifts, 18% night shift differential, and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
Position Summary: This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with ARRT and MRTBE guidelines, ensuring optimal care for all patient populations in an operative setting.
Core Functions:
- Prepare for surgical procedures by setting up imaging equipment and communicating with the OR team.
- Educate patients and families about procedures.
- Perform radiographic procedures following policies and protocols.
- Use specialty imaging equipment and ensure cleanliness according to infection prevention standards.
- Produce high-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform equipment quality control and troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain a safe environment and educate others on radiation safety.
- Accountable for ethical and professional responsibilities in radiology practice.
- Facilitate onboarding support for new technologists.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. National certification from ARRT and state licensure if applicable. BLS certification required. Two years of related experience preferred.
Must demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
