Midwife
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive years, including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Your expertise and commitment to delivering personalized, evidence-based care will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Where you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to women and their families. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes your well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum care for women, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the entire process.
- Provide guidance, support, and education to women and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and the best possible outcomes.
- Perform routine gynecological exams, screenings, and contraceptive counseling, empowering women to take control of their reproductive health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay current with advances in midwifery and women's health by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification and licensure in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience in providing midwifery care, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Proficient in conducting prenatal care, assisting with childbirth, and providing postpartum care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with women, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting a positive birthing experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple responsibilities with efficiency and compassion.
