TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting RGN’s and RPN’s for Ireland’s first ever Medical Supervised Injection Facility (MSIF) based in South Dublin.
As a Registered Nurse you will work predominantly in the MSIF clinical area, supervising clients before, during and after episodes of injecting. Core activities include client engagement; health assessment; management of health emergencies; health education; brief interventions and referral to other health and welfare services. You will be part of the Registered Nurse Team and work collaboratively with MSIF’s multi-disciplinary team.
As this is a pilot programme, contracts are 18 months long; part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Rosters run from Monday through to Sunday.
Salary for full-time positions is €37874 to €41114 DOE. Long service salary is also on offer.
Salary for part-time positions (28.5 hours per week) is €27667 to €30044 DOE.
The ideal candidate for this post must have:
- A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing (general/psychiatric)
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a low threshold environment
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
