Premier Medical Resources is seeking a full-time Physician Recruiter for our team. The Physician Recruiter will recruit Physicians and Advance Practice Providers. The Recruiter will advertise and market job opportunities, cold call and network with physicians and agencies, and successfully complete assigned physician searches. Consult from the initial recruitment, prepare a comprehensive profile of open opportunities, and develop/implement targeted candidate strategies. Serve as the primary contact for physician candidates throughout the recruitment process, including facilitation of the on-site interview and assistance with the offer and contract negotiations as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Candidate Sourcing/Marketing
- Devise and implement an overall marketing strategy focused on a consistent and controlled cycle of recruitment for the recruitment of physicians and mid-levels specific to practice needs.
- Assist in the creation and development of marketing and/or advertising material for print and placement in professional journals and/or Internet placement as well as posters for display at professional meetings.
- Source potential candidates utilizing multiple venues including internal databases, the Internet, residency programs, specialty specific professional associations, and professional recruitment online databases.
Candidate Screening
- Conduct initial screening of potential candidates via telephone interviews pursuant to specific staffing needs.
- Present an in-depth exchange of information about the available opportunity and expand on the advantages of associating with specific practice.
- Evaluate the candidate's professional goals and interests to determine whether the candidate is a match for the practice's opportunity and culture.
- Determine the candidate's level of interest in the specific opportunity.
Candidate Interview Process
- Determine candidate's availability and arrange for a Zoom interview between practice and the candidate.
- Provide practice with candidate CV and an executive summary of the candidate's pre-screening interview.
- Post-interview follow up with practice to determine level of interest and next steps in the recruitment process.
Onsite Interview
- In concert with the practice, ascertain possible dates that will work for both the candidate and the practice for an onsite visit.
- Work with the practice to develop and coordinate an itinerary for interviews with physicians.
Site Visit Details
- Coordinate airline flights for the candidate and/or family.
- Arrange for delivery service to transport the candidate to and from Houston.
- Make all necessary hotel reservations.
Candidate Post Site Visit
- Follow-up with the candidate to address questions and/or concerns developed during their site visit.
- Through discussions, evaluate the candidate's continued level of interest in the job opportunity.
Feedback to Practices
- Prepare weekly Physician Recruitment Logs that reflect detailed status information on all candidates pertinent to the search.
- Provide ongoing updates relative to specific candidates on a continuous basis.
- Share comments and insights gained through casual conversation with candidates during visits as well as from e-mail correspondence as they occur.
- Follow-up as required with practice to facilitate completion of necessary telephone interviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to interact effectively with physicians and colleagues at all levels of the organization and be able to function independently (minimal direct supervision) yet also work effectively as a member of the Physician recruitment team.
- Ability to travel to job fairs and events.
- Strong knowledge of physician and advance practice providers process, including sourcing and interviewing.
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) plus years of physician recruitment experience to include conducting Full Life Cycle recruitment.
- One (1) plus years of experience using applicant tracking database systems.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
