What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Specialty certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years experience in specialty area preferred with evidence of progressive leadership.
What you will do:
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
- Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput.
- Assume direct patient care if necessary.
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s).
- Guide and direct a team of caregivers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge.
- Guide staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
- Take lead on clinical performance management.
