Qualifications
- RHIT and/or CHDA certifications preferred
- Experience with EMR Systems such as Athena One, EPIC or Cerner
- Prefer 2 or more years of Data Quality experience preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data issues to a variety of audiences
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other data analysis tools
Responsibilities
- This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of health data
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in data quality
- The Quality Data Analyst will work across the organization to identify areas of improvement, develop strategies to address these areas, and oversee the execution of these strategies
- Develop and implement data quality standards and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of health data
- Collaborate with various teams to identify data quality issues and develop strategies to address these issues
- Oversee the execution of data quality strategies to ensure they are effectively addressing identified issues
- Monitor and report on the status of data quality initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to ensure data systems and tools are designed and functioning to support data quality
- Lead and manage a team of data quality analysts, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data quality management and incorporate these into the organization's data quality strategy
