Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical services to clients and clinical supervision of assigned therapists or other related service providers.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct therapists or other related service providers, and student interns through individual and group conferences in improving their diagnostic, treatment, and case management skills. Provide supervision as needed with the license requirements of others in the same provider discipline and relating to client needs. Provide day to day administrative and clinical supervision to clinical staff; assign caseloads and coordinate activities of staff and interns.
- Utilize Arrow endorsed trauma informed clinical modalities and evidence based practices for supervision and all client and family therapeutic interventions and sessions.
- Evaluate performances of those providing clinical and other related services, and student interns.
- Ensure the implementation of Recovery Plans, Treatment Plans, and/or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide guidance to staff to help them in understanding clients’ needs/diagnoses and enhance service provision skills. Coordinate inter-disciplinary teams as appropriate, involving parents/guardians/foster parents.
- Maintain and supervise diagnostic assessment schedule to ensure compliance with timelines required by state regulation and program policy.
- Coordinate and oversee the Medicaid billing for related services as applicable.
- Provide oversight to client related deadlines, including but not limited to treatment plans, IEPs, goal setting, client due date reports.
- Prepare written reports required by agency (progress reports, etc.).
- Provide direct clinical or related services to clients to include but not limited to individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
- Provide after-hours “On-Call” coverage for direct services during hours when the offices are closed.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients and/or families during business hours as availability dictates.
- Provide/coordinate training on clinical or related service topics for staff trainings.
- Review and provide feedback on written reports for clinical or related service departments.
- Supervise initial and quarterly client case record review process to ensure case record compliance.
- Be actively involved in the Developmental/Corrective plans of foster families and Residential Child Care Licensing (RCCL).
- Approve home studies as needed.
- Assist in placement and discharge decisions as needed; also assist in the development of discharge and aftercare plans.
- Attend staff meetings, seminars, and professional conferences and serve as treatment team member. Attend all team conferences and meetings.
- Facilitate foster parent support groups, in-service training, and pre-service training as assigned by the Regional/Program Director.
- Drive ACFM vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete Arrow’s vehicle training.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Due to various State regulations, the following may be required: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure. At least three (3) years of experience working with children in the child welfare, mental health, or special education industry and one (1) year of progressive supervisory and administrative experience. Approval by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, or other relevant board as a supervisor. Certifications in relevant evidenced based practices may be required, based on state regulations.
