Job Description
Responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in a timely fashion while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.
Minimum Requirements
- Preferred Associate's Degree
- Required High School Diploma Graduation from an AMA-JCH approved program for Radiological Technology.
- Less than 2 years of Six months of cardiovascular and intervention training and/or experience. Required
- Must be ARRT certified. Required
- ARRT - Am Registered Rad Tech
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Responsibilities
- Assist our physicians with Venclose, Varithena, Venaseal, EVLTs, Ultrasound guided Sclerotherapy, and RF ablation procedures.
- Perform venous insufficiency and venous mapping ultrasounds of the lower extremities.
- Perform upper and lower venous duplex and arterial duplex studies.
- Prepare thorough reports on findings.
- Clearly communicate findings to physicians.
- Enjoy the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, as well as enjoying working as a strong team member.
- Maintain sonographer equipment.
