We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment to help students reach their fullest potential. Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of students with special needs.
Are you interested in helping children receive the education and care they deserve? Tilly is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Occupational Therapist in the school setting. It’s a rewarding position — you’ll be an important member of a child’s care team and will see the results firsthand as you help improve that child’s life.
What you'll do:
- Provide direct services including individual sessions, group sessions, or push-in sessions as per the number of services specified on a Student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- Offer consultation services, engaging with appropriate parties or members of the team (e.g., parents, teachers, educational specialists), in alignment with the number of services stipulated on a Student’s IEP on the current or future NPS caseload (or otherwise specified).
- Administer, prepare, and complete all necessary assessments or evaluations for students.
- Maintain a detailed and regularly updated log of student services provided, documenting the date and the beginning and ending time of each service.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP team meetings scheduled by the IEP team.
- Regularly complete and report on student progress on a quarterly basis for all students on the current or future NPS caseload (or otherwise specified).
- Correspond and maintain consistent contact with members of the IEP team based on student or case requirements. Maintain open lines of communication with NPS upon request, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of services.
What You Bring:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other professionals.
- Strong leadership skills.
Who You Are:
- Mission-driven: You are dedicated to our mission and understand that providing excellent care to children with autism is at the core of everything we do.
- Motivated: You take ownership of your projects and are driven to produce the highest quality work product. You meet deadlines and communicate roadblocks. You look for opportunities to add value.
- Creative: You come up with original ideas to solve complex problems.
- Collaborative: You thrive in a team environment. You love listening to feedback and incorporating other people's opinions into your ideas. You're willing to work beyond your stated role for the better of the team.
- Compassionate: You care about people. You want others to succeed.
We are excited to welcome dynamic individuals to our growing team! We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, 401K, and paid time off.
