This is a full-time 12-hour night shift position with every 3rd weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. **Eligible for night shift hourly bonus after successfully completing orientation**
Preferred candidates with at least 1 year hospital RN experience.
West 11 - Medical Unit
West 11 is a 24-bed acute care unit. Nurses on this unit care for medical patients. Some of the main diagnoses include gastroenterology, endocrine/diabetes, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary, and adolescent eating disorders, in addition to other general medical diagnoses. This is one of two units designated for behavioral health patients who require medical care.
Responsibilities include:
- Being a partner in the care management team.
- Providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care.
- Delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Candidates must show proof of license on or before the first day of employment.
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
