The Radiology Department works closely as a team with Technologists and Radiologists often collaborating to provide care for our patients.
A typical day will include performing routine and specialized X-ray and CT examinations on outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department patients. Using state-of-the-art technology, equipment and techniques, our services give accurate, comprehensive and timely diagnostic information and use a web-based Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) for the storage and efficient distribution of images throughout the organization.
This position is full-time nights with weekend option working 7pm to 7am every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided
- Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
- Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
