We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Developer/Case Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to assess their skills, guide them through the job search process, and connect them with potential employment opportunities. This role involves both hands-on case management and proactive networking to help clients secure meaningful employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Assessment:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ skills, work history, and employment goals.
- Identify barriers to employment and develop individualized action plans to overcome them.
• Job Search Assistance:
- Provide one-on-one coaching to clients on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation.
- Assist clients in completing job applications and tailoring their resumes for specific job opportunities.
• Networking and Outreach:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to create job opportunities for clients.
- Identify and secure job openings suitable for clients’ skills and qualifications.
- Arrange and coordinate job interviews for clients with potential employers.
• Case Management:
- Maintain detailed case files and records of client progress and outcomes.
- Monitor clients’ job search activities and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the job search process.
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of the local job market and employer expectations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and job search platforms.
Work Hours:
• Part-time, 15 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend hours to meet clients’ needs.
