SUMMARY
The Ophthalmic Coordinator performs basic and intermediate ophthalmic exam techniques including specialized testing. Responsible for teaching and instructing other technical staff in basic examination techniques. Works with Clinic Manager, Chief of the service area, residents and attending physicians in coordinating daily clinic workload activity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Associate's degree Preferred
- Three (3) years related ophthalmic experience working in a clinical setting Required
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
