What You’ll Need:
- Graduate of an approved AMA Radiology Program or Associate’s DegreeRequired
- Registered & Certified by ARRT in MRI / other specialty or DeemedMRI Registry Eligible
- Valid CPR Certification – BLS Required
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Conducts or assists in MRI procedures and diagnostic tests / scans.
- Maintains knowledge of current protocols and imaging techniques, while ensuring MRI Scanners are well-equipped for patient use.
- Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies, recognizes and reacts appropriately to potential crises.
- Provides guidance, education, and consultation to healthcare personnel, students, and patients to enhance quality of care; stays current with necessary competencies, training, and education needed to work in this capacity.
- Maintains patient files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental procedures.
- Collaborates with colleagues to achieve objectives; Sets personal and professional goals to support quality improvement efforts and departmental objectives.
- Ensures age and developmentally appropriate care meets guidelines for specific age groups served.
- Adheres to general hospital procedures and policies, fostering cooperation through effective communication, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
