Job Description
• Responsible for non-regulated pharmacokinetic (PK) Biotherapeutics study sample analysis with ligand binding assays (LBA) using a range of platforms but with a focus on generic assays using the GyroLab platform to support local and global preclinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Sample receipt, storage, organization and disposition.
- Sample MRD and dilution in preparation for analysis with and without the use of automated liquid handling.
- QC and standard curve preparation.
- PK and TK sample analysis, run acceptance and data review.
- Routine operation of Gyrolab and maintenance, reagent inventory management specific to assays supported.
- Documentation with EWorkook.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years industry (contract research organization, pharmaceutical or biotechnology) experience ideally with a focus in on PK LBA analysis of Biotherapeutics or experience in a medical technology/laboratory medicine setting.
- Working knowledge of quantitative immunoassays and assay performance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to routinely execute complex assays successfully.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Proven ability to generate high quality data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent pipetting skills.
- General understanding and skills in bioanalytical laboratory techniques.
- Experience with project management beneficial.
- Experience with laboratory information management systems beneficial.
- Knowledge of PK beneficial.
