In a highly specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed.
The Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse – Per Diem 7P-7A who will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Adolescent Units. The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift, supervises the Mental Health Techs working on the unit, administers prescribed medications, and provides medication and other educational groups.

QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
- Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on the telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients. Must be able to participate in and complete Handle With Care Training on an annual basis.
