JOB SUMMARY:
The 3-11 Nurse Supervisor will assume the role of overseeing evening nursing assignments and delegating administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to staff nurses and aides. You are charged with carrying out and ensuring that all resident/patient care policies and procedures established by this facility are being adhered to.
As a nurse working in rehab, clinical, geriatric, and palliative care at Hanover Hill Health Care Center, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your patients’ conditions and ailments, using advanced technology and equipment, to create their most personalized plan-of-care. Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday 3 - 11pm. There is an on-call weekend rotation once every two months.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience as a nurse in a long-term care, hospital, or other related health care facility. Supervisory experience preferred but not required; will train the right candidate.

Qualifications
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in the state of New Hampshire (RN or LPN)
Responsibilities
Work with staff and residents to ensure quality care. Provide day-to-day assistance and supervision to all units. Work with and maintain communication with DNS and other supervisory staff. Keep informed on new admissions, orders, follow-up, etc., and take responsibility in developing work assignments and completing such tasks. Provide education and support to all evening nursing staff as needed. Report problem areas to Director; assist in developing and implementing corrective action. Maintain an effective orientation program that orients the new employees into the 3-11pm shift by providing education on the facility and shift’s policies and procedures, and on his/her job position and duties. Attend and participate in continuing educational programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession, as well as to maintain your license on a current status. Monitor nursing care to assure that all residents are treated fairly and with kindness dignity and respect. Review nurses notes to determine that the care plan is being followed.
