We are seeking an Ultrasound Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We want you to apply!
Job Summary and Qualifications
- Proficient in all Ultrasound and Vascular procedures.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all positioning techniques, technical factors, and anatomical factors necessary to obtain quality images.
- Assists the radiologist and/or other physicians as necessary.
- Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members.
- Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule as required.
- Demonstrates initiative and is responsible.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Observes universal precautions and other health and safety rules.
- Participates in continuing education essential to the field.
- Demonstrates good patient care skills.
- Communicates in a positive, compassionate manner to all age groups.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Consistently ensures prompt, timely service to all outpatients.
- Maintains clean environment and sanitizes equipment between each patient contact.
- Completes all work before clocking out and leaving.
- Ability to perform all common Ultrasound/Vascular imaging procedures without assistance.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Ability to review exams for technical accuracy.
- Ability to communicate pertinent data to the ordering provider, nurse, or other caregiver as appropriate.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate / GED.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
