We are offering a $1000 sign on bonus for this position.
We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Children’s Clinician to provide outpatient treatment to individuals/families of the Behavioral Health Center in an office and/or outreach basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- See children and their parent/guardian as assigned for assessments, evaluations, and ongoing treatment in an office and/or outreach basis.
- Attend case conferences and multi-disciplinary meetings. Maintain caseload as assigned to perform assessment, treatment, planning, and ongoing psychotherapy.
- The Clinician should be knowledgeable and experienced in providing individual therapy to children and in the use of several of the following treatment modalities: individual, family, and group. Make referrals to other resources, agencies, clinics, and hospitals as needed.
- The Clinician may be called upon to conduct seminars and to participate in the clinic staff training program and be available as a consultant on clinical work issues.
- Supervision by the LICSW or LMHC Supervisors will be provided to the clinician to meet requirements of the agency and licensing bodies.
- Provide on-call triage to clients of FSA’s Behavioral Health Center on a rotating basis. Each on-call shift is weekly, Tuesday to Tuesday from 5pm to 9am weekdays and 24 hours per day on weekends and holidays. Clinicians are reimbursed at a rate of $50.00 per week per on-call rotation week.
- Respond to reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- Must have a Masters in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
- Must be licensed or license eligible.
