Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to provide supervision for our clients and to ensure their safety while building rapport. This includes assisting clients in group settings, managing individual problems, setting behavioral limits, documenting client progress, and communicating any professional needs to staff. Responsibilities also include contributing to the upkeep of the care environment.
Essential Duties:
- Be aware of the whereabouts and activities of all assigned residents at all times.
- Ensure client safety using verbal de-escalation methods and CPI techniques as needed.
- Facilitate the daily schedule, including chores, meal service, and activities.
- Facilitate daily phone calls for clients.
- Complete daily shift notes for individual clients.
- Communicate with treatment teams about client concerns.
- Supervise self-administration of medications as per physician orders.
- Supervise clients with detox orders, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Provide transportation for residents in a safe manner.
- Comply with all policies and documentation requirements.
- Remain current on all training and certifications required for employment.
- Provide support to assigned house, with potential changes based on operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
- Prior work experience in behavioral health settings with adolescents is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for insurance coverage.
- Must become CPI and CPR certified within the first 30 days.

The salary range for this position is $20.00/hr to $25.80/hr based on education and experience.
