Overview: EpicCare Ambulatory - Clinical Bus Solutions Analyst
Position is Remote (Work from Home) with ability to be onsite as needed. Anticipate once a month.

- Formulates and defines business scope and objectives as well as infrastructure requirements through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements.
- Performs functional analysis, requirements definition, application module configuration, and testing.
- Responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables, and setting of transaction/control tables.
- Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions.
- Responsible for the identification and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved in security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation.
- Involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data. Generally, this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop scripts necessary for application functionality.
- Functions as a primary liaison between Infrastructure teams and internal and external customer teams requiring infrastructure services.
- Manages and cultivates the infrastructure teams' relationships with internal customers and project teams.
- Marshalls appropriate resources to deliver infrastructure services in support of project deliverables.
- Production Support monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing, and providing advanced customer support.
- Deployment/Implementation planning and executing the implementation of new applications or system integration and testing.
- Design, research, recommend, and design new technologies, new configurations, and enhancements to existing systems; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the environment.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the fundamental tools and concepts of one of the information technology Teams.
- Applies that understanding to make independent practical contributions to moderately complex IT work within Mercy departments or functions.
- Detail-oriented and capable of exploring innovative solutions to solve complex problems and address issues.
- Experience in clinical systems, including implementations, support, configuration, optimization, etc.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle difficult situations involving healthcare workers of all levels.
- Operates under general supervision.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
- Other: Knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, use case development.
- Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies.
- General understanding of Software Development Life Cycle; good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in business writing.
- General understanding of a variety of operating systems; ability to work in a complex technical environment.
- Epic Certification within 3 months of hire.
