Position Summary: The incumbent will join a team of five other PAs covering the UNC Hospitals' Gross and Frozen Section rooms, tissue procurement, and other activities. Responsibilities include specimen grossing, frozen sections, teaching resident physicians, and tissue banking. There are no on-call weekends or autopsy responsibilities.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: BS or MS degree, PA (ASCP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Interest in teaching and good communication skills are required. Prior clinical experience and teaching experience are advantageous.
