Job Description
Surgical Practice seeks PA/NP candidates to work with their outstanding surgical team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The candidate will provide assistance to the Surgeon with the clinical care and treatment of patients and will display professional competency in the OR while assisting the surgeon during surgery.
The provider assists with bedside procedures as appropriate within the delineation of privileges. Identifies and provides for the teaching of patients, families, and other health care providers.
With the supervision of a Physician, performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients, and completing discharge summaries.
Orders, collects, and performs appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures and studies. Performs diagnostic studies such as, but not limited to, EMG, electrocardiogram, compartment pressure measurements, and x-ray examinations including special x-ray examinations CT, MRI, and bone scans.
1-2 years experience preferred as a certified PA/NP. Monday – Friday Schedule | Excellent Salary & Benefits Package.
