This is a unique opportunity for a Live-in Direct Support Professional (DSP). You would be required to live with our person served. Here are a few perks to consider:
- Live-In DSPs are provided room and board at no cost!
- Live-In DSPs would have their own separate living quarters within the home.
- You do have the ability to view your living quarters prior to move-in contract completion.
- Your family may be allowed to move into the quarters with you!
- Hours worked would be part-time, asleep overnight shift.
- Paid hours are $18.50/hr. and would include awake hours only (avg. 15 hours weekly).
- Additional work hours are available if interested!
As a Live-in DSP care provider, you will be assisting in providing support services and assistance to individuals in their homes. Candidates will have a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to work in child foster care homes
- Have an acceptable driving record as determined by Dungarvin policy.
- Current auto liability insurance
- Ability to complete personal cares
- Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
