Key procedures include ECMO (involving only MDs and fellows), some surgeries, therapeutic cooling, and intubations, but not PICC lines or chest tubes. Evidence-based medicine is prioritized, with one physician supervising two advanced practice providers (APPs). Shifts run for 12.5 hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., including sign-out time.
