Physical Therapist Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to create tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and interventions designed to meet each patient's specific needs and goals.
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and keep accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, home care practices, and mobility enhancement strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in physical therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into treatment.
- Adhere to hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and foster a safe, supportive environment.
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico.
- Clinical experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work effectively with healthcare teams.
