Speech Language Pathologist

What to expect as a Director of Oncology & Infusion Services:
- Responsible for all activities, nursing care, and the execution of nursing and hospital policies of Oncology and Infusion Services department.
- Will assume staff nurse responsibilities in the event of open shifts.
- Establishes and reviews policies.
- Responsible for annual evaluations.
- Attend manager meetings, participate in manager training programs, establish departmental goals, and serve on hospital committees.
- Manage staff and providers.
- Provide guidance throughout the year.
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of Oncology and Infusion patients to ensure timely and effective service/care.
- Promotes Oncology and Infusion Service referrals in the healthcare community.
- Hires appropriate personnel for departmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Current Missouri RN license.
- BLS, required. ACLS, preferred.
- Chemotherapy and Oncology certification, preferred.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience.
- Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience, preferred.
