A radiologic technologist provides safe and effective performance of radiographic procedures and examinations under the direction of the departmental manager and radiologist(s). Maintains confidentiality and adheres to Florida Health Care Plan’s Policy and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills and experience:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible.
• Must have current General Radiographer’s license from the state of Florida.
• Knowledge of office skills and medical terminology.
• CPR certification through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association OR the ability to acquire the certification within 90 days of hire.
• Clear English communication skills, written and oral.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License/transportation necessary for traveling throughout facilities.
