About You
We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration ready to step up and lead the team. You will be appointed to one of our residential wings (household). As a team leader, you will take ownership of how your team delivers the best possible care to residents living in your wing.
Duties of the role
- Support the RN in undertaking resident assessments, document care needs and continually review and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical care.
- Support the RN in the delivery of clinical operations for each shift.
- Ensure resident assessments, care plans and progress notes are accurately completed to meet accreditations and funding requirements.
- Provide and monitor the effectiveness of clinical care for residents.
- Act as a point of contact for staff, residents and relatives for care needs; refer complex issues to the RN as may be required.
- A flexible and enthusiastic attitude toward undertaking a variety of tasks, working independently and as part of the team.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing quality, with a team approach expected.
- Taking reasonable care for your health and safety and others.
- Not to be under the influence and/or use of alcohol or drugs while at work.
What you will need to succeed
- AHPRA registration as an EN/EEN.
- Experience as an EN/EEN in aged care will be highly regarded.
- Ability to lead and make sound decisions.
- Alignment with the organisation’s values.
- Can-do attitude, good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft and other Olivet Care software products as required.
- Knowledge of National Aged Care Standards.
- Current Police Check/NDIS Screening Check.
- Covid 19 Vaccination.
- Have full Australian working rights.
