Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory/Tech Assistant for the Neuroscience department within the School of Arts and Sciences.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Handles setting up experimental apparatus requiring custom hardware and software and in analysis of data.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work may be substituted for the degree.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB and a working knowledge of building experimental setups for neurobiology experiments.
