Hospice On Call RN needed- 7 Nights on / 7 Nights off!
Every other week off! Full time pay and benefits!
Bayada Hospice is hiring a Full Time RN, Registered Nurse for overnight On Call hospice visits working every other week.
7 nights on, 7 nights off. Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday. Following week off!
Hours Every Other Week:
- Sunday to Monday – 5p to 830am
- Monday through Friday – 5p-830am
- Friday to Saturday – 5p-6am
- Saturday to Sunday – 5p-6am
Office is located in Colchester, VT. This office services hospice clients in territories throughout Chittenden, Franklin, Lamoille, Washington and Grande Isle counties.
Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs.
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Case management and coordination.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided.
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in Vermont.
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
