Come join a new opportunity at Hope For Youth! Hope For Youth has a part time opening for an Other Licensed Professional (OLP) Therapist.
To be a successful therapist you must become ready, able, and willing to do the following always:
- Function within the policies and procedures as outlined in program practice guide and employee manual.
- Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team to assist client in their overall functioning.
- Ensure that service delivery is in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.
- Conduct Family, Individual, and group therapy.
- Attend case related meetings if possible or present a report.
- Attend trainings and professional development as assigned and attend meetings as assigned and required.
- Provide in home/community and infrequent in office treatment.
- Should be willing and able to use and be trained in an array of Evidence Based Interventions best suited to meet the client's needs.
- Will work remotely from home part time signing in for sessions, assigned meetings, supervision, supervisor approved trainings and completing paperwork only.
- Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agency and any other regulatory obligations.
How you will generally spend your time in this job:
- 65% Direct client therapeutic contact including transportation.
- 20% Case documentation, reports, case related meetings.
- 15% Staff meetings/supervision/training.
Minimum job requirements to have and maintain:
- LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT, limited permits.
- 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents and families preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience working with EHRs.
- Valid NYS driver's license in good standing.
- Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, driving own vehicle.
