Job Requirements
- A
passion for helping seniors
- A desire to contribute
to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family &
friends, and all team members.
- Ability to
communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
- Ability to work every other
weekend
- Ability to work effectively as a team
Job Responsibilities
- Developing relationships with residents and
their families and supporting the physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical
needs of the residents
- Communicate needs to and assist resident’s
doctors with medical assessments
- Supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs
- Ability to maintain accurate and legible
records such as nurses’ notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports and medication
records
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Licensed
Practical/Vocational Nursing Program
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nurse
Examiners
- Geriatric experience preferred but not
mandatory.
- Experience with electronic medical records
preferred but not required
- Experience with dementia care
preferred but not required
